Frequently Asked Questions

Select your perfect data plans to stay connected with our eSIM

Common Questions

eSIM (Embedded SIM Card) is a virtual SIM card technology that is built into the device and, unlike traditional physical SIM cards, does not require physical insertion or replacement of the card slot. eSIM is integrated on chip and can be configured and activated by software, which makes it easy for users to switch mobile network operators or add multiple virtual operators. eSIM technology enables device manufacturers to provide connectivity services in a more flexible manner, while providing users with convenience and a seamless connection experience. Users can configure eSIM directly from the device or application and choose the appropriate mobile network operator or data plan. eSIM is widely used in smartphones, tablets, smartwatches and other connected devices to provide users with more convenient, flexible and customizable mobile communication solutions.

Whether a device supports eSIM depends on whether the manufacturer includes eSIM in its device. In order to facilitate inspection, we have provided a support eSIM device list.

Some specific countries require customers to complete a process of authentication before activating a new communication service. If the eSIM requires authentication, this will be stated prior to purchase, and the authentication information can be added to my eSIM details.

To know when you can install eSIM, you must understand the activation policy. Most eSIM are activated at the destination only after connecting to a supported network. In addition, some eSIM activate immediately after installation, regardless of location. How do I know when my eSIM will be activated? You must check the eSIM activation policy.

After your purchase is completed, a confirmation email with a QR code will send to you.

Make sure your device has a stable internet connection before installing your eSIM. This will help avoid installation errors.

Once you start installing your eSIM, do not interrupt the installation. You may run into an installation error and your eSIM may not be retrievable.

Most eSIMs can only be installed once, and if you remove the eSIM from the device, it cannot be intalled again. If you no longer use your eSIM, you can remove it from your device.

Troubleshooting

This error message appears when you try to add a previously added eSIM or when the QR code scan is incomplete due to an unstable connection.

Unable to complete cellular number change Error messages are related to installation failure and may be caused by:
1. Too many eSIM are installed on the device. eSIM compatible devices allow you to install multiple ESims, but depending on the device model, the number of ESims that can be activated at the same time may vary. For example, an iPhone can store between 5 and 10 ESims, depending on the device storage space. For more information, contact your phone manufacturer.
2. Cellular Network is disabled in the device Settings.
3. The eSIM you are trying to install has been previously installed: Most ESims can only be installed once.
4. The connection is unstable when you attempt to install the eSIM. This usually happens when using onboard Wi-Fi or public Wi-Fi.

Internet speeds depend on the coverage, speed or priority of your local operator. However, if the eSIM requires the APN settings to be added/updated manually and you haven"t added them correctly, then the problem is actually due to incorrect eSIM settings.
